Sponsor or Volunteer for CAT Holiday Bike Building

Want to help refurbish bikes for children this holiday season? CAT’s fifth annual event is a great chance to learn and practice bike mechanic skills, to make old bikes like new again, and to give back to the community.

Our goal for 2021 is to refurbish 150 bicycles for children ages 3-12. Volunteer bike build sessions are by sign-up for the following time slots from October 1 through December 30, 2021:

Tuesdays 12-4pm
Wednesdays 12-7pm
Thursdays 12-7pm
Saturdays 11am-3pm

If you are interested to volunteer now through the end of December, please email cat@lvcat.org, or call 610-954-5744. We especially welcome parents in search of a children’s bicycle to sign up and build a bike yourself.

Under COVID precautions, we are limiting each session to five (5) volunteers plus a CAT staff member. For volunteers, proof of vaccination and masks are required.

Sponsor a child’s Holiday Bike here! Your donation supports family bike education and the cost of parts such as tires, saddles, grips, chains, and tools.

If you know of any families or organizations that support families in need, they can contact CAT to be recipients of refurbished bikes.
