Want to help build bikes for children this holiday season? CAT’s fourth annual event is a great chance to learn and practice bike mechanic skills and to give back to the community.
Our goal for 2020 is to refurbish 75 bicycles for children ages 3-12. Volunteer bike build sessions are by sign-up for the following time slots from October 1 through December 30, 2020:
- Tuesdays 1-4pm
- Thursdays 1-7pm
- Saturdays 11am-2pm
If you are interested to volunteer now through the end of December, please email cat@lvcat.org, or call 610-954-5744. We especially welcome parents in search of a children’s bicycle to sign up and build a bike yourself.
View the CAT calendar to see scheduled staff mechanics and volunteers (click on calendar items for details).
To practice COVID precautions, we are limiting each session to three (3) volunteers plus a CAT staff member. Masks are required to be worn.
If you know of any families or organizations that support families in need, they can contact CAT to be recipients of refurbished bikes.
