Just added to the calendar! This is a single-day class with our next offerings on February 21st (class full) and March 21st (two spots available).
This 8-hour class offers the full experience of wheel building science and technique. Students will learn about:
-
- types of rims & spokes
- lacing patterns
- calculating spoke lengths
- spoke tension
- wheel dishing
- truing stands, tensiometers and other tools
- spoke thread preparation
Over the course of the day, every student will build a wheel from start to finish. In a small group setting of no more than four students, this class will be cerebral, hands-on, and fun!
