SUNDAY, October 10, 2021, 11 a.m., Ironton Rail Trail, Whitehall, PA

We are getting ready for our first ever ride with Sights for Hope, scheduled for Sunday, October 10, at 11 a.m.. We need both tandems and captains (front-seat riders); Sights for Hope will provide the stokers (second-seat riders.). This ride is part of our effort to encourage and support non-traditional riders, expanding the local cycling cadre to include people whose limited sight keeps them from riding on their own.
Our goal is to have more tandems and captains than Sights for Hope has riders.

As of this writing, it appears the ride will be on the Ironton Rail Trail, which has the advantage of allowing riders to go one loop or several.  Once around the loop is approximately 5.5 miles.  We think it will be both fun and educational for all of us.
