There are three convenient ways to reach CAT’s new location in downtown Bethlehem: bike, bus, or car.
By Bike
- A bike rack will be available outside the CAT building for public use.
- A covered bike parking area is planned for the future in the small park at the east end of the building.
- CAT is just up the Main Street hill from the D&L Trail at Sand Island (about 1/2 mile)
By Bus
- CAT is highly accessible by public transit (LANTA bus), with the “Downtown Bethlehem” bus stop located on Walnut Street directly outside the building, and the Bethlehem Transportation Center (BTC) stop around the corner at Broad & Guetter Streets
- Take any of these routes directly to CAT
- Blue Line (from Southside Bethlehem, Easton, Palmer, Bethlehem Twp, Macungie, Allentown)
- Green Line (from Whitehall, Allentown, Southside Bethlehem)
- Route 102 from LV Hospital Cedar Crest or Allentown
- Route 105 from Hellertown or LVIA Airport
- Route 107 from Allentown
- Route 108 from Bethlehem Square (Linden St B’hem)
- Route 220 from Easton, Palmer Twp, Bethlehem Twp, NCC Green Pond
- Route 312 from Bethlehem Twp/Emrick
- Route 324 from Allentown or LVIA Airport

By Car

- CAT is easily located using GPS at: 33 W Walnut Street, Bethlehem, PA
- The facility is one block from Main Street, in the heart of historic downtown Bethlehem.
Car Parking Options
- Walnut Street Parking Garage (located in the same building as CAT): $1.50 per hour (first 1/2 hour is always free)
- Meter parking on the street in front of CAT is $2.50/hr
- Free neighborhood parking is available starting approximately three blocks from CAT (see parking map).
- White areas on the map indicate eligible free-parking zones.
- In residential permit zones, visitors may park for up to two hours.
- To avoid a ticket after two hours, vehicles must be moved to a different block (not simply across the street or to another space on the same block).
- Some free on-street parking with unlimited time can be found further out (check signs)
