CAT offers numerous volunteer opportunities from working on bikes, helping at events, leading bike rides and more!

Volunteer with CAT

- Sign-up to help at an event listed on the CAT Calendar.
- CAT organizes bicycle education events for youth, partnering with local schools, police/health departments, and community organizations. For these events, we always need mechanic assistants, helmet fitters, on-bike skills course helpers to work with our experienced instructors.
- Help adults, teenagers, and families at the CAT Bicycle Cooperative hours held weekly, year-round.
- Be part of CAT/LANta’s Adopt-a-Bus Stop program at a bus stop near your home/business.
- Volunteer with CAT for community and trail cleanups. Or just pick up some trash in your neighborhood… that’s the start…
- Community members who cannot afford a quality bicycle can participate in our earn-a-bike program by volunteering in exchange for a bicycle that will give them healthy and enjoyable transportation. Your donation keeps these options available to everyone!
- Volunteer and help rebuild children’s bicycles for the winter holidays (October-December) Since 2017, this successful program has awarded over 500 bikes to Lehigh Valley youth! Read more about this program here
