CAT is looking to expand and move to a new location. We have outgrown our current space due to year-round community demand. We envision a larger workshop area with additional workbenches, tools, and meeting/classroom space so can do even more for the community!

The CAT Bicycle Cooperative is an inclusive/safe space for everyone and our programs are available to residents of all ages regardless of income status. The CAT Bicycle Cooperative and office is our home base and transportation education center.

CAT seeks a property with the following attributes:

1. 4,000-8,000 sq ft total floor area.
2. Programming space consisting of larger rooms is most useful for bicycle cooperative, classes, meetings, and office work
   (minimum 1,500 sq ft)
3. Accessible, same level storage space for bikes & parts is ideal so we don’t have to carry bikes up long flights of stairs
   (minimum 2,500 sq ft)
4. ADA compliance and street level entrance for bikes is critical.
5. Nearby access to public transit (main LANTA Bus routes) is critical.
6. Quiet street, alley, parking lot, or park nearby for learn-to-ride classes and test-rides.
7. We are primarily searching in the City of Bethlehem as it is geographically central to the Lehigh Valley and serves residents of both Northampton and Lehigh Counties, but we will consider all possibilities.
