Waterways on Wheels Bike Ride, Sept 29

Take a family-friendly bike tour with CAT and Penn State Extension’s Master Watershed Stewards along the Lehigh River, connecting the river with local history and the D&L Trail!

Begins/ends at Scott Park in downtown Easton (130 Larry Holmes Drive, Easton, PA)

About the Event: Join Master Watershed Stewards in partnership with CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation for a 7 to 10-mile bike tour along the Lehigh River from Scott Park in downtown Easton to Hugh Moore Park. Guided bike ride, riverside watershed demos, and LUNCH are provided!

The ride will offer various stops along the D&L (Delaware & Lehigh) Trail to learn about the watershed, life within in the Lehigh River, and local history. Lunch will be provided on the National Canal Museum patio. Restrooms and water refill stations are available before returning to Scott Park. Trail surface is generally paved with some gravel sections.

More Info: The tour will last about 3 hours and begins with sign-in and bike safety checks. Bring your own bicycle. Helmets are required. Please bring a bottle of water with you.
